I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science, advised by Prof. Adi Shamir. I previously completed my M.Sc. at the Weizmann Institute of Science, also under the supervision of Prof. Adi Shamir. Before that, I earned my B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
My research interests lie in trustworthy AI, machine learning security, and theoretical machine learning. I study the theory of deep learning, aiming to understand how neural networks operate and to address security questions including provable adversarial vulnerabilities and robustness. More recently, I have expanded my work to the theory of machine unlearning, focusing on its theoretical foundations and the evaluation of existing approaches. My research combines theoretical analysis with applied work, developing and empirically evaluating methods in practical learning systems.
Alongside my academic research, I have gained industry experience in machine learning security research. I am currently an intern at Microsoft, working in a security research group on LLM-based classification of security data, with a focus on explainability and interpretability in collaboration with Prof. Rich Caruana. Previously, I worked as a security researcher at NSO Group, where I focused on practical cybersecurity research.
